As we get to the finish line for Summer Reading planning, please note that for your early literacy activities, the Early Literacy section of the Summer Reading manual incorporates the Every Child Ready to Read program ideas. The Library
of Michigan is beginning a two-year Every Child Ready to Read project, with materials sent to libraries and our first workshops with Sue McCleaf Nespeca next week, so think about Summer Reading for toddlers and preschoolers when you look at those materials.
We do have additional Every Child kits available upon request as well for those libraries that need a set.
