Hello Michlib-l,

Please join us at 7:00 PM, Monday, October 7th as we welcome Michigan author John Wukovits for a discussion of his book Lost at Sea: Eddie Rickenbacker's Twenty-Four Days Adrift on the Pacific Ocean- A World War II Tale of Courage and Faith.

While conducting a government mission during WWII, famed aviator and race car driver Eddie Rickenbacker's, along with seven companions, B-17 was forced to crash land on the ocean’s surface hundreds of miles from land. Join local author John Wukovits for their tale of courage and faith while adrift for 24 days with little fresh water or food on the Pacific.

John  is a military expert and an authority on the Pacific Theater of World War II. He has written numerous books including Hell from the Heavens, which is currently being adapted into a feature film, and his latest Lost at Sea: Eddie Rickenbacker's Twenty-Four Days Adrift on the Pacific--A World War II Tale of Courage and Faith.

Event is in person. Register is required. Tap here to register.
