Hi everyone,

We have an upcoming program at Dearborn Public Library:

Willow Run: 80+ Years and Going Strong

Tuesday, September 27, 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Henry Ford Centennial Library Auditorium

Local author and historian Barry Levine will discuss the over 80 year history of the Willow Run complex: Ford's B-24 bomber plant, Kaiser Frazer, General Motors auto and transmission manufacturing, passenger and air cargo aviation, military research, and more. "While operations have changed over the years," says Levine, "the people at Willow Run have always persevered through whatever challenges came their way."

Barry Levine works at The Henry Ford Museum and is a volunteer at the Yankee Air Museum. He is the author of the books Yankee Air Museum (2018) and Michigan Aviation: People and Places That Changed History (2021), and his articles have appeared in various aviation and history magazines.

This is an in-person event in the auditorium. No registration is required.

Thank you and have a good day,

Henry
