Hello!  Ypsilanti District Library is looking to do a puzzle swap and social event where folks can donate puzzles (mainly before the event, hopefully) for tickets, which can at the time and date of the program be exchanged for other donated puzzles.  We would also have light refreshments, a selection of our own circulating puzzles for check out, and a few tables set up to work a puzzle during the event if desired.  For anyone who ran a similar event, just throwing it out there for any best practices or lessons learned, especially if you have any thoughts on:

Did you have people drop off puzzles in advance or did you have people bring/swap puzzles during the event?
Did you limit the number of puzzles to swap per person?
How did you experience traffic during the event? Did everyone come all at once, in the beginning, or was traffic spread out over the course of the event?
Did you allow anyone who did not bring a puzzle to swap to take a puzzle during the event? Did you charge them, or did you let them have a puzzle for free?
Did you do just a swap, or did you do a swap and a sale? If you did a sale, did the profit go to the library or to your Friends group?
How many people did it take to run the swap (including sorting puzzles in advance if you did that)?
