She has had recent news coverage of her successes solving cases in Detroit and will discuss identifying, locating missing persons, victims, criminals and much more. Solomon Northup's America Wednesday, February 25, 7-8:30pm Solomon Northup was an African-American farmer and musician who was taken hostage and sold into slavery in 1841. His story is told in the film "12 Years A Slave" and will be discussed by Dr. Finkenbine, Professor of History and Director of the Black Abolitionist Archive at U of D Mercy.
