We have non functioning security gates. Will not be replacing them. Historically, we didn’t lose items to theft but to being checked out & not returned.

Hello,

It is time to replace our security gates. However, because of the cost I was thinking of not replacing them but removing the gates altogether. Are security gates still needed? Has anyone done this before? Do you have any recommendations?
