The Sterling Heights Public Library just created a new position - PT Library Programming Specialist. The scope of work includes development of publication information, use of library program registration software, assisting librarians with programs, observation and evaluation of programs, and other assigned activities to improve upon the quality of programs and program offerings.

The pay rate starts at $22.5628/hr. with pay increases every six (6) months and annually on July 1st! The position also includes paid time off.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with programming experience
Experience working with the public for a minimum of two years in a related setting
Enrollment in a Master in Library and Information Science program is preferred, but not required
