Lady Clementine by Marie Benedict
I enjoyed Benedict's book
Only Woman in the Room so much that I had to read more. Lady Clementine is a fictional account of Lady Clementine Churchill, Winston's wife. From what I've read so far, the saying "Behind every great man is a great woman" is certainly true. Not only
did she keep the household running on their limited budget, but Lady Clementine worked alongside her husband Winston - and he respected her opinions on everything including politics. Their ideas didn't always succeed, but the support they had for each other,
even in troubled times, is inspirational.

Hello,
Yesterday we had a fascinating and very informative genealogy program focusing on finding Black ancestors. Rozlyn Kelly, President of the Farmington Genealogical Society, was the presenter. In addition to providing information, and a handout, on this topic, she told the story of tracing some of her ancestors back to the early 1800’s. We were all riveted! When she made connections between historic records and the family stories she heard some of us had tears in our eyes. Rozlyn is a pleasure to work with and she’s comfortable with Zoom.
If you’re interested in this program contact Rozlyn at rekelly6@gmail.com.
Best regards,
