The Collaborative Summer Library Program’s annual virtual Summer Symposium will be Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm EST. Registration will open November 5th. The symposium is for all who plan and work with summer library programming & will address all ages of service.

 

 

Highlights:

11:00 am – Welcome & Keynote: “You Belong in Libraries” with Mycal Threets

12:45 pm – “From Planning to Palette to Posting: Summer Reading Marketing with Cari Hillman (OH) & Katie Rothley (MI)

2:00 pm – “A Rainbow of Opportunities for Creative Programming” with Katie Brunner (CO) and Amanda Raiche (ND)

3:30 pm – “Coloring Our World Green: Sustainability and Summer Reading” with Keturah Cappdonia (NY) and Haleigh Mikolajczky (NY)

 

ICYMI - I am thrilled to give you a sneak peek of the 2025 Color Our World posters & slogans. You’ll note that there are 3 options: a Children’s poster, a Multigenerational poster, and a Slogan only poster. This artwork has not been released for public use yet, so please do not share or use it publicly. Manual Codes will be sent to Directors in October with access to all the art and the CSLP store front.
