POSITION: Finance and Facility Manager REPORTS TO: Library Director
COMPENSATION: DEQ

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree and 1 year of experience in library fund
accounting and facility management or similar. Thorough knowledge of accounting theory,
concepts and practices applicable to public libraries. General knowledge of library procedures
and practices. Ability to compile and maintain accurate statistical information, financial
reports and records according to accepted accounting procedures and standards.
Demonstrated ability to effectively use automated library systems, computers, financial
software, and other technology. Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work
with staff, the general public, and service providers. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 40
lbs. Visual acuity necessary to view a computer screen and written materials. Hearing ability
to exchange information in person or on the telephone. Desire to serve the public in a positive
manner and the ability to work with people of all ages. Must be bondable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree. 2+ years of financial management
experience.
