Position: Support
Services Clerk – Part-time
Pay: $12.00
per hour.
Hours: Up
to 18 hours per week including some nights and weekends.
Benefits: (3)
paid personal days a year. Eligible for 457 Plan after one year.
Reports to: Support
Services Coordinator
Qualifications:
- 18 years and up with a high school diploma or GED.
- Library experience desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication
skills.
- Must have the ability to work with the public: enthusiastic, friendly
and approachable.
- Operate standard office equipment and computer-related technology devices.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently.

- Ability to maintain effective relationships with staff, and work in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
- Successfully pass a background check & pre-employment screening
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet and direct library patrons.

Check out, check in and renew library materials.

Register patrons for library cards.

Empty book drop, process delivery.

Answer telephones.

Assist with opening/closing procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
