Good afternoon all, At the recent TLN Adult Services (AS) Committee Virtual Spring Workshop on AS programming ideas, some attendees proposed creating a group to share ideas to learn from each other and potentially other professionals, such as mental health experts and those who work with people with disabilities. Some libraries are already incorporating programs specifically designed to support people with disabilities, and we're hoping to gain insight into what works, what doesn't, how people respond to these opportunities, things to try, disclaimers, and anything else. This is open to any library staff who work in adult services, outreach, youth services, etc. *Here is a Google form for anyone interested * <https://forms.gle/rpBuYbhcwBdacgCf7>in joining an email list for Zoom links to attend these virtual conversations. *We don't have a timeline for meetings or a deadline for signing up via the Google form at the moment.* If there is already an established group, please let us know! We don't want to reinvent the wheel or step on anyone's toes. If you are in another consortium, not TLN, please feel welcome to share this invitation with your members. Sincerely, Katie -- Katie Rothley, MLIS Marketing & Public Relations Librarian Northville District Library 212 West Cady Street Northville, MI 48167 (248) 349-3020 <callto:(248)+349-3020> ext. 221 https://northvillelibrary.org My working day may not be your working day.
