I am interested in hearing about the experiences of other public libraries regarding allowing food and beverages in the library.  We have a fairly open policy about allowing food and drinks in our building and haven’t experienced any of the feared damage to library property, but we have had an issue with trash and patrons having food delivered to the library.  What have other libraries done to regulate the use of food and beverages in their buildings?
