
I was mid-demo when the Amazon page stopped displaying the "Get Library Book" box on the right. The patron's OverDrive account showed that it was checked out and downloaded, but the book didn't show up in the patron's Amazon "Manage My Kindle" account. So what exactly is the problem? I was able to download a book via usb. I also downloaded another book wirelessly. It downloaded to the cloud, but once I tapped it, it transfered to the device.

According to the amazon techies, there is a nationwide problem with Overdrive downloads for all public libraries through amazon. There is no solution at this time but they hope to have it figured out, possibly, today. It has been going on all weekend, so I imagine today will be interesting with LOTS of Overdrive questions.
