The Library of Michigan, Library of Michigan Foundation and the Ann Arbor District Library are pleased to announce the upcoming "Night of Notable Authors" to be held at the Ann Arbor District Library on Saturday, October 24th. A goal of the Library and Foundation has been to partner with libraries outside of Lansing to present a Michigan Notable Books event with regional interest. The first event was held in September of 2014 at the Grand Rapids Public Library and was a great success. The second annual event will be hosted by the Ann Arbor District Library (invitation attached). With the generous support of Meijer and several community sponsors, this special event featuring a panel discussion and book signings with 15 Michigan Notable Authors, is open to the public and free of charge.
