Library Assistant/Circulation

The Westland Public Library is currently accepting applications for a 36 hour circulation position.

Library Assistants report to the Circulation Supervisor.

Starting wage is $9.50 an hour, paid holidays, vacation and personal leave.

Position Summary: Performs checking in and checking out materials, register patron card,

Collect money, and answer the telephones. Many other tasks.

Two years of library experience preferred.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
