Jackson District Library has an opening for a full time Community Engagement Coordinator.
This is a system-wide manager position
responsible for the implementation of the Library's community engagement strategies and building collaborative relationships, including internally with other JDL departments. The CE Coordinator focuses on building connections to the community to identify, plan
and coordinate the development and delivery of innovative, responsive, high-quality engagement and outreach activities for adults and general audiences that support JDL's priorities and fulfill its strategic objectives. The CE Coordinator also provides strategic
direction using data about target audiences, library usage, and trends. Candidates will demonstrate a passion for engaging the community and exhibit a positive approach while working with multiple-stakeholders using a high degree of diplomacy.
