
This Saturday at the Library of Michigan. Tracking the Hopper: Biographical Research at the Library of Michigan Starting with nothing more than a 1971 footnote and a painting, this class is designed to demonstrate how to research 20th & 21st century individuals at the Library of Michigan. We will trace two families from Russia in the early 20th century to the United States, through their lives, careers, and homes. Using paper and digital sources the class will walk participants through trusted resources and public records. This class is intended for middle school, high school and adult students interested in exploring the history of people in the state of Michigan.
