In 2019, Battle Creek was privileged to have Holocaust survivors Irene Miller and Irene Butter (two Michiganders, both named Irene) visit our community for Days of Remembrance. 

Lakeview High School Library collaborated with the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center to have Mrs. Miller give a keynote address. See Battle Creek Shopper News article
