Shaping Our Vision: New Possibilities for Academic Libraries in Michigan
Inaugural MI-ALA Conference

You are invited to Central Michigan University for the inaugural MI-ALA conference to showcase your innovations in library science. We are excited to see how librarians across the great state of Michigan are harnessing their vision to shape the future of libraries
in Michigan.
We are interested in proposals on topics in every area of librarianship that address the issues critical to academic libraries. We welcome proposals that explore the present and the future of academic libraries:
· Collections,
· Staffing, and
· Services
Broad participation is encouraged from librarians, staff, LIS students, and administrators from all types of academic libraries (including but not limited to public universities, private colleges, and community colleges).
Proposals for 45-minute long presentations can be submitted only through the online submission form and must be received by Friday, December 4, 2015. The primary contact for proposals
will receive a message indicating receipt of the proposal when it is submitted and decisions on proposals will be communicated to the primary contact by Friday, January 15, 2016. Regardless
of the decision on a proposal MI-ALA encourages you to attend the conference. Poster session proposals may also be submitted if your presentation proposal is not accepted.
