On September 1, 2023, TALK:
Text to Learn for Kindergarten switches from an IMLS grant-funded program to a Midwest Collaborative for Library
Services (MCLS) product. We know you likely have several questions about how this change will affect your library. To make the transition as seamless as possible,
staff from both MCLS and Ypsilanti District Library invite you to a live informational webinar on either July 13 or 19 (registration links below).
Our agenda is the same for both sessions and includes the following topics:
- The "what" and the "why" of transitioning TALK to MCLS.
- Pricing model details including cost examples, important dates, billing, and the free text block voucher program for current IN and MI TALK libraries.
- Current and future software developments.
- Answering questions submitted both on the Zoom registration form and during the webinar.
