Job Posting: Children’s Librarian

Wauseon Public Library is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Librarian to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children and has a knack for developing engaging programming to inspire young minds.

Job Responsibilities:

·              Develop and implement innovative children’s programming that fosters a love for reading and learning.

·              Collaborate with Wauseon schools to effectively utilize the Galani Grant.

·              Create a warm, welcoming environment for children and their families.

·              Engage with children in a variety of activities to encourage exploration and curiosity.

Job Requirements:

·              Must have a genuine love for children.

·              Be enthusiastic, energetic, and imaginative.

·              Ability to work collaboratively with schools and community organizations.

·              Must pass a background check.

Additional Details:

·              Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

·              Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

·              Probationary Period: 90 days
