The Superiorland Library Cooperative (SLC), based in Marquette, Michigan, is seeking a collaborative, service-driven leader to serve as its next Director.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a flexible hybrid schedule (remote and in-office) and an annual salary range of $75,000–$80,000. The Cooperative supports 35 member libraries across the Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Peninsula and oversees a regional integrated library system serving 82 libraries.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, staff management (6.5 FTE), oversight of library system contracts (SirsiDynix), support services, and leading the Great Lakes Talking Books Reader Advisory Center and the Upper Peninsula Region of Library Cooperation (UPRLC).

🎓 Requirements: MLIS from an ALA-accredited program, leadership experience, valid Michigan driver's license, candidates must either live in the SLC service area or be willing to move to the area.
