The library director oversees the management and planning of the library.  They are in charge of services, materials and equipment; supervise and schedule library employees; perform public-relations and fundraising duties; prepare budgets; and direct activities to ensure that everything functions properly. Flexibility and friendliness are an important part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma, some administrative experience, some knowledge of different kinds of literary forms, knowledge of the working of a budget, skills in computer data processing and the internet, very personable, greets and works well with the public and dedication to the job and mission of the library.

Hours Part time, 20-30 hours a week.  No benefits

Salary:  $12.00-$15.00 an hour
