Instructor Information:

Dr. Ezell is president of The Extra Edge, a training and consulting firm near Lansing. She has

presented more than 1,000 programs for staffs and administrators of libraries in all parts of the U.S.

She holds a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Missouri and a

Doctorate in Adult and Continuing Education from Michigan State University, with an emphasis

on innovation and change in organizations.  She serves on the board of the Friends of Michigan

Libraries, where she has presented programs on creating library support with local communities.

Most recently, she published Pass It On: How to convince People of the Value of Libraries,

a primer on using marketing and communication strategies to encourage support and increased use

and appreciation for libraries.
