Registration is now open for the 2017 Michigan Innovative Users Group (MIUG) Annual Conference to be held at Lansing Community College – West Campus on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration and continental breakfast
will be held from 8:30-9:00 a.m.
We have an exciting line-up of sessions this year. In addition, we’re very pleased to welcome Paul Gallagher, Assistant Dean of Transformative Services at Wayne State University, as our morning keynote speaker. Paul will be sharing his
insights on user services. He will be presenting, “Creating Amazing Experiences: How to Transform Your Service Philosophy, Better Listen to your Patrons, and Use Design Thinking to Delight Your Patrons.” We are also pleased to welcome Debbi Schaubman, Shared
Library Systems Manager at Midwest Consortium for Library Services, as our afternoon keynote speaker. Debbi will be sharing an overview of the partnership between Library of Michigan, MCLS, and Zepheira Technologies. She will be presenting “MeLCat, Linked
Data and Web Search: An Overview and Update.”
An early bird registration fee of $45 will be applicable through July 5th. From July 6-19, the late registration fee will be $55.
The registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch. Parking is free at the venue.
