Subject: [alsc-l] CSK Awards Book Donation Grant: apply before 1/31

Dear colleagues,

The Coretta Scott King Book Awards Donation Grant committee is now accepting applications for 2018 grant recipients. Every year, the Ethnic and Multicultural Information Exchange Round Table (EMIERT) of the American Library Association receives extra copies of books under consideration for the 2018 awards, including a full set of the 2018 winning titles for the Coretta Scott King Book Award. The grant provides books by African American creators to organizations that provide educational services to children and are looking to expand their book collections, especially underfunded organizations (libraries, schools, and more). 

If you are interested in applying for the grant, or know someone else who might be, please help us spread the word! The application process is open through January 31, 2018, and the official press release announcing the grant is located at this link.
