This position manages the daily operations of the Arcadia Commons Campus Library and supports all students, staff, and faculty at the downtown campuses by providing a high level of customer service and access to the KVCC library resources.

Duties include:

• Instructing students on how to use library resources.
• Providing technology assistance to students and assisting them with a variety of software (such as word processing, presentation software, spreadsheets, and browsers).
• Providing instructional support to faculty, staff, and students and reaching out to the greater KVCC community with details about resources available.
• Utilizing integrated library automation system software, learning management systems, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Partnering with KVCC library staff; including areas such as course reserves, circulation, collection development, and how-to-guides.

Appropriate education, training, experience and talents are required. An example of this would be a Bachelors degree in an appropriate field and a minimum of two years of related experience supporting students.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Experience tutoring college students preferred.

Knowledge of library practices and procedures is preferred.
