FYI for those interested in the Association for Rural and Small Libraries Annual Conference. The 2023 conference will be in Wichita, KS from September 20 – 23. The registration will open soon at https://www.arsl.org/2023-registration-landing-page.

The ARSL conference is eligible for an LM Continuing Education stipend. If you have not received a stipend in this fiscal year (10/1/2022 – 9/30/2023), you can apply at www.michigan.gov/cestipend. The applications are scored and how recently you have received a stipend and how recently your library has had a staff member with a stipend are part of the score, so applying does not automatically mean you will be funded, but most applications are funded. We encourage you to apply.
