Proposals are currently sought for 5-minute lightning talks at the 2019 MiALA (Michigan Academic Library Association) Annual Conference, held on May 13 and 14, 2019 at Saginaw Valley State University. We are looking for 6 presenters to discuss topics relevant to community college librarians and staff. This is a great opportunity to get your feet wet if you’ve never presented at a conference before!

Potential subjects include (but are not limited to):
- Managing multiple job responsibilities & diverse projects
- Engaging library staff
- Making connections with faculty & adjunct faculty
- Balancing needs of diverse student population
- Student worker training & engagement
- Connecting with administration & proving value
