The only item in our Library of things that we still circulate at this time is our Hotspots. We quarantine everything for 4 days then check in. We then wipe them down with an anti-bacterial wipe.

Hi Rebecca,
Pretty much everything still circulates. We quarantine these items longer (7 days) just to be safe.
Hope that helps!

Hi Rebecca,
We have a limited number of Library of Things available at this time. Mainly our one piece, easily cleanable items such as the projector, metal detector, measuring wheel and binoculars are available. Multi-piece items and summer games are all shadowed in our catalog.
We took the dominos, giant Jenga and vr glasses out of the collection during this phase. Other items, like tools are still allowed to circulate. We quarantine, like our regular materials but do not do any special cleaning.

Hi Rebecca,
We are still circulating everything from our extensive tool library, as well as our STEAM kits. We quarantine all of those items for four days, just like books, and we wipe down the hard surfaces of items whenever possible.

Hi Rebecca,
We have stopped circulating all fabric items, so no puppets or early literacy bags. We are circulating our STEM Kits. They quarantine for 7 days, and then wiped down with a Lysol wipe while being inventoried.

We are not circulating anything from our ETC collection--except mobile hotspots. The hotspots go into quarantine for five full days upon return, and then they are wiped down before getting ready to circulate again.

We are not circulating items from our Library of Things, and to be honest, no one has asked for any of them for checkout.

Oh my gosh, we have been checking our library of things like crazy! We have been checking out our knitting kits, ukulele, drone, microscope, telescope, etc. People are spending more time at home and are looking for creative ways to spend their time. We are quarantining returned items for 4 days and wiping everything down when we check them in. We haven't taken anything out.
Have fun with your collection!
We have not been circulating our Library of Things items during this time at any of our libraries.
