[Michlib-l] Help a patron remembering a book

Hello all, and happy Friday. a bit soggy up here, but still the weekend~! I have a patron trying to track down an old book she remembers, and all she can tell me is it is non-fiction, takes place in Alaska, about a sociopath who has something like 13 kids (sounds marvelous, right?????).
