Libraries and Summer Food
If you want to become an SFSP site, the
Collaborative Summer Library Program's Libraries & Summer Food how-to guide is a thorough, clear step-by-step guide for determining whether your library is eligible, getting started, and exploring
other ways to support food distribution and address basic needs. Whether or not your library is an SFSP site, there are many ways to raise awareness about summer meals. To get going as a site in Michigan, you can head to the
MDE SFSP site for instructions and training resources.
The MDE
SFSP team will host office hours
on Thursday, May 4, from 2:00-3:00pm. This is a great opportunity to get your Coordinated Application questions answered. Hope
to see you there! Join LIVE: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85963606619.
Applications to be a site close May 9th.
