
Hi Lisa - Dexter still maintains separate sections for genres. Attached is a good article. Though somewhat older (2006) the approach is more generic than timely. Some good things to consider but no definitive answer. In general, commercial bookstores still separate fiction by genre. I have to assume their market research tells them this is the most effective way to attract purchasers to the items which will generate sales.
