Now in its fourth year, MLA’s Think Space provides a unique forum where library directors and cooperative directors across Michigan come together in a supportive and thought-provoking environment to explore their personal and professional
growth and engage deeply in issues that matter to our profession.
This year, Think Space will be led by a single facilitator to offer a cohesive, in-depth exploration of leadership. We’ve partnered with John McCann, renowned leadership coach and President of Partners in Performance. With McCann’s expert
guidance, participants will focus on diving deep into their purpose, values, and unique challenges, empowering them to harness resilience and cultivate self-compassion.
Our first in-person gathering will take place at the beautiful Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth, Michigan, on December 5-6, 2024. The second will be held at the iconic Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, May 22-23, 2025, with an optional
early arrival on May 21.
Registration includes meals, networking events, accommodations at both resorts, ferry tickets to and from Mackinac Island, and parking. Make sure you register by this Wednesday, November 13 to include hotel overnight accommodations at the
December meeting!
