Morton Township Library presented "My Dearest Friend" a two character PLAY chronicling one of the greatest love stories and partnerships in U.S. History between John and Abigail Adams. If libraries are interested in presenting history plays, this is an excellent one. Author Mary G. Kron has created a touching flashback of the high points of the couple's life together through the American Revolution and beyond. Gary E. Mitchell and Mary Beth Quillin make of the cast of the play.
