Library Assistant II – Substitute (Part-Time)
Loutit District Library seeks an organized and energetic individual as a substitute for the Youth or Adult Information desks. The position involves extensive work with the public in person, over the phone, and virtually. The
primary function of this job includes answering reference questions, recommending books, and providing technology assistance.
Schedule: The schedule for this position includes evenings and weekends.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience, knowledge of library services, computer proficiency, and a flexible schedule are required.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $15.00 per hour.
