Big Rapids Community Library Assistant Director Position - FULL TIME

The Big Rapids Community Library recently completed a 1 million dollar renovation and strives to meet the needs of its community.
Duties would include:
Coordinate/oversee circulation processes, policies, personnel and activities; assist in the preparation of new materials for use in the library; maintain
day-to-day library activities; assist in preparing reports; use of information technology equipment; attend Library Board meetings and prepare minutes; assist the Library Director in various administrative matters; and to perform related work as required.
Starting salary $34,500-$38,000 Dependent on Qualifications.
Required education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred but not required: MLS degree or a Michigan Certificate of Library Experience. One year library experience is also preferred.
