We just wanted to share that we are one of the hosts for the 2026 Michigan Notable Books Author Tour! We will be hosting OCC professor and author Cheryl L. Neely next week on Saturday, May 16th at 2:30 pm.

Join us as she discusses her book No Human Involved: The Serial Murder of Black Women and Girls and the Deadly Cost of Police Indifference. Drawing on interviews, court records, media coverage, and data, the book examines cases from major U.S. cities, shedding light on overlooked victims and the systemic issues surrounding these crimes.
