On June 12 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC, updated their Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) information with recommendations.  You can find the new recommendations under:

Please visit the link above to read the full text of the recommendations from the CDC around a variety of activities including “Visiting Libraries”.  These are recommendations for the general public not directives for libraries, though libraries should be aware of that these recommendations say since their patrons will be aware of them and may ask about your familiarity or library services, as related to the CDC recommendations.
