Good morning and Happy Halloween all! I saw Caroline T. share an invitation yesterday to a Discord server focused on Library of Things collections, which was a brilliant idea so I'm stealing it, and it inspired me to make one for Library Marketing! I know sending emails can sometimes get cumbersome, so if you are interested in joining, please reply to me directly and I'll share the invitation link with you! The purpose is to ask questions, lend support, share ideas, provide inspiration, and anything else you can think of pertaining to marketing, communications, PR, etc... I've cross-posted this with Michlib and my consortium (TLN) but if you are a part of another consortium, feel free to forward this to them, please and thanks! A note on Discord... it's a free online service for communication via messages but also through audio (if available). People can also share documents, images, and gifs. Within a Discord server, you can have multiple categories and channels that are specific to a task or a topic. It's very easy to use. You can sign up in your internet browser <https://discord.com/> or download the free app <https://discord.com/download> onto your phone or other device. -- Katie Rothley, MLIS Marketing & Public Relations Librarian Northville District Library 212 West Cady Street Northville, MI 48167 (248) 349-3020 <callto:(248)+349-3020> ext. 221 https://northvillelibrary.org Currently Reading <https://www.goodreads.com/user/email_signature_destination/32729040?utm_medium=reading_link&utm_source=email_signature> [image: Book Cover] <https://www.goodreads.com/user/email_signature_destination/32729040?utm_medium=cover&utm_source=email_signature> [image: Goodreads Logo] <https://www.goodreads.com/?utm_medium=gr_logo&utm_source=email_signature>Get your own email signature <https://www.goodreads.com/user/email_signature_instructions?utm_medium=gyo_link&utm_source=email_signature> My working day may not be your working day.
