Hello Friends!!
For those of you who may be training teachers on how to use Britannica School, they have just made things a little bit easier! When setting up a "My Britannica" account, Britannica has eliminated the need for a school code for the educator
account. Now, educators just need to enter in a username, password, and email address, plus check off "Educator" in the sign up box. (Reminder - usernames cannot contain any spaces.) Students just need to enter a username, password, and check off "Student"
in the sign up box.
The My Britannica Educator account allows access to over 16,000 lesson plans plus curriculum standards alignment. Plus, My Britannica users can create and share Resource Packs, which is an excellent tool in the K-12 classroom.
If you would like to learn more about using Britannica School, or any of the great MeL databases, please check out the
Training Toolkit
in the MeL Teachers portal (teachers.mel.org).
