Historical presenters try to depict all sides of history but sometimes run afoul of twenty-first-century sensibilities. This session addresses the understanding and misunderstanding of uncomfortable portrayals of the past and ways to cope with negative reactions, using the speaker’s experience presenting on sensitive topics at The Henry Ford as examples.

Participants can “attend” remotely, if they prefer. If you can watch and listen to a video on Facebook or YouTube, you can attend our workshops remotely! See our website for full details.
