You are correct! Emails from michlib-l@liblists.org may have landed in your spam or junk folder by mistake (email filters can be a little overprotective sometimes!).
To make sure you don’t miss any future updates, here are a few quick tips to help you find the message and mark it as trusted:
Step 1: Check Your Spam or Junk Folder
Sometimes emails from new contacts get filtered. If you find michlib-l@liblists.org messages there, please mark it as
“Not Spam” or
“Not Junk” to move it to your inbox.
Step 2: Mark michlib-l@liblists.org as Trusted (Optional but Helpful!)
Gmail

Open the email.

Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of the email.

Select “Filter messages like this.”

Click “Create filter”.

Check “Never send it to Spam” and click
“Create filter.”
Outlook (Web or Desktop)

Go to
Settings > Mail > Junk email.

Under Safe senders and domains, click
Add.

Enter michlib-l@liblists.org and click
Save.
Outlook (Classic)

Open the email.
-
Go to
Home > Three Dot Menu > Junk

Select Never Block this Group or Mailing List

Add to Safe list and click
Save.
Other E-Mail Providers

Seach for instructions on "how to add a safe sender in [Your Email Provider]"
