The University of Michigan launches the first of its planned eight practitioner-oriented MOOCs (massive online open courses) on Tuesday! The Public Library Management series is a set of practitioner-oriented courses that bring robust, effective management skills to individuals working in public libraries. These courses offer a pathway for library professionals to expand their toolkit of management strategies and expand access to high-quality library science education. The first course, Public Library Management: Identifying Community Needs, launches Tuesday, May 2, but you can join the course anytime.
