Our county (Eaton) has a Resource Recovery person who has a touring Vermiculture display-- so maybe someone at your county in the recycling area? On Fri, Jan 2, 2026 at 1:22 PM Lancaster, Cathy (MDE) via Michlib-l < michlib-l@liblists.org> wrote:
I'll chime in that MSU Extension <https://www.canr.msu.edu/outreach/about/msue_leadership> does offer a number of expert programming and/or might put you in touch with someone - reach out to the district director in your region. Sounds like a fun potentially multi-gen program for *Unearth A Story*(tm), too. Best,

Hi!
Does anyone know of a vermiculture (worm farming) specialist/hobbyist in southeast Michigan that might be interested in sharing their experiences/hobby for a library program? We could gear it toward adults or children.
Thank you!
