Hi Susan & Amber:

There is nothing to suggest that libraries will not receive their PPT reimbursements. District Libraries receive their payments directly and municipal libraries (Township, city, county) will receive theirs via their municipalities, as usual. School public libraries and municipal libraries without designated millages do not receive them as they do not have designated millages.

If a library has questions with regards to amount or process, they should contact:

Treasury (questions on amount of PPT and if PPT is warranted)

For questions regarding the calculation of the personal property tax reimbursements, contact the Revenue Sharing and Grants Division, Michigan Department of Treasury at:

Phone: 517-335-7484

Email: TreasORTAPPT@michigan.gov

LCSA – (questions on disbursement timeline and how funds are issued)

For questions regarding the status of personal property tax reimbursement payment, contact the Local Community Stabilization Authority at:

Phone: 734-726-4113

Email: contact@lcsami.gov

I hope this is helpful!
