On behalf of the MI OER Network Steering Committee, we would like to let you know that registration is still open for the 2021 MI OER Summit which will be held on Wednesday, August 11 (10:45 am - 4:30 pm EST) and, Thursday, August 12 (11:00 am - 3:30 pm EST).

The Summit is FREE and open to anyone. You can register now at the MI OER Virtual Summit page. You can also check out the Program to start choosing your schedule.

Our keynote speakers this year are Dr. Angela DeBarger, Program Officer in Education, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and Dr. Lisa Petrides, founder and CEO, ISKME. We have an excellent line up of speakers and presentations including a panel of student leaders from the ASMSU (Associated Students of Michigan State University) who will talk about student advocacy and partnership around OER.

We hope you consider attending and supporting this event. Our theme this year is “Building Bridges to Open Up Education” and what a way to think about forging these connections as we all collaboratively advance equity and inclusion not just in higher education but in K-12 as well.
