The position involves extensive work with the public, especially youth, in answering questions, recommending books, and assisting with the online catalog. The primary function of this job includes reference and reader’s advisory services. This position includes evenings and weekends. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of youth literature, computer proficiency, and flexible schedule required. Public library experience preferred.
