A Sleuth’s Guide to MeL Marketing Magic
It was a quiet morning at the library. The coffee was hot, the stacks were neat, and everything seemed perfectly ordinary, until a whisper of mystery drifted in. Patrons were asking about MeL resources,
but the posters were missing, the social media posts were silent, and the flyers? Gone without a trace.
That’s when the clue appeared:
Digital & Print Assets. A tucked-away trove of
marketing tools, ready for you to explore. Flyers, posters, social media graphics; all waiting to be discovered. Thoughtfully designed materials that make promoting MeL simple and stress-free.
Inside the Digital & Print Assets page,
you’ll find:
TIP ALERT! The hyperlinks on the Digital & Print Assets page will download the files directly to your browser’s downloads folder (except PDFs, which open in a new tab), so you won’t see a preview page first.
But here’s the twist: these resources shine brightest when they’re put to work. If they stay tucked away, they’ll never get the chance to help you solve the mystery of marketing MeL.

Author/editor: Hi! I'm Shauna Quick, the Technology Access Consultant at the Library of Michigan. In an effort to understand how AI can help libraries, I've been
practicing different use scenarios such as writing this MeLMinute like a cozy mystery novel. I had help from Microsoft Copilot to change the tone and descriptions of this month's theme (mysterious, right?). I asked it to rewrite my text like a science fiction
novel, children's librarian getting ready for story time, and finally a cozy mystery novel. I hope you enjoyed the mysterious flair.
